The eighth annual TIME 100 Gala's red carpet welcomed Rihanna dressed in a gorgeous fuchsia dress on Tuesday night .
The sexy pop star is set to perform at the gala tonight along with R&B star Raphael Saadiq, and she tweeted to her followers before heading out for the event.
She also received praise from designer, Stella McCartney in the Time's 100 most influential people issue while she stated, "Rihanna goes out of her way to support the people she believes in. She is one of the few people I know in that world of fame and celebrity who aren't all about themselves. She'll give a real part of herself to an ordinary person she may meet, and that's rare."
