Kicking off their European tour run in
the UK, Jay-Z and Kanye West unwound following a concert in London on Saturday
night (May 19) by throwing a 'Watch The Throne' tour London show after party at
DSTRKT.
As for the star-laden after party, Kanye
turned up to DSTRKT with his black dress clad E! reality star girlfriend, Kim
Kardashian, on his arm.
Enjoying being able to spend time with
her man on the road, Kim tweeted a pic of two plates of gourmet food with shiny
gold and silver utensils atop to go with a message reading, "Meal with my baby
on the throne before the show!"
With Kim's brother Rob also turning up
with his new lady, Rita Ora, other star power int he house at DSTRKT included
Jay's Coldplay rocker pal Chris Martin, who was joined by his actress wife
Gwyneth Paltrow and designer friend Stella McCartney.
Topping off the list of 'Watch the Throne
partygoers was the always-gorgeous Rihanna, who certainly sounds as if she had
an eventful evening - though she's having trouble remembering it.
Jet setting out of La La land on a trip
to Lonodn, Rihanna was seen catching a flight out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles,
CA on Friday.
Once arriving, the Barbadian beauty made
a stop at one of her favorite restaurants in the area that gives her a little
taste of her hometown.
In career news, we know the Grammy
award-winning singer can handle the music business, but it sounds as if acting
came as more of a "challenge".
In a recent interview with MTV News,
Rihanna dished about her acting debut in "Battleship", saying, “For me, acting
was a whole different world. We make mini-movies with music videos, but there's
always a song track that's playing, you don't have to speak, so [with acting]
you have to tell that emotion with the tone of your voice, and I have an accent,
so I had to change it to a bit of an American accent for this movie, so that was
different."
Now that the 24 year-old has some
experience in the artistic medium, will she return for another go around?
"There's nothing you can have under your belt with acting, not in my opinion,
because I'm not a natural. This isn't my first so I don't know. I think it's
always going to be a challenge for me, but I like that."

Showing off his romantic side, Chris
Brown just dropped the steamy video for his latest song "Sweet Love."
Delivering some mouth-watering moves for
the ladies, the 23-year-old R&B artist goes sans shirt for much of the
clip.
Really amping of the sexiness, the spot
features several ladies dressed only in sheets any lying in bed as Brown
serenades them.
Later in the video Chris can be seen
getting cozy with his onscreen interest, even making his way under the covers
with one lucky lady.
British pop star Cheryl Cole is backing Chris Brown and
urging fans to forgive him for assaulting Rihanna three years ago.
Convinced Brown has made positive changes in his life
since assaulting Rihanna in February of 2009, the "Call My Name" singer and
former "X-Factor" judge sat down for an interview with Alex James on "In:Demand
With Alex" to encourage others to forgive and forget.
"I think it's really kind of Rihanna [to forgive
Brown]," the 28-year-old explained, "She's come out and publicly forgiven him,
really."
Although Rihanna recently stopped following Brown on
Twitter, sources told US Weekly in January that the pair have been seeing each
other the past year, and in February they released two new songs they recorded
together.
"I think it's about time we all [forgave Brown], if I'm
completely honest, if you want my opinion," Cole added, "I think it's time we
all moved on. That guy is talented as hell."
Over the weekend Chris thanked Cheryl by sending her a
message on Twitter saying, "thanks for the support and believing in me as an
artist!"
As for RiRi, she spoke out against the criticism she's
getting for talking to Brown again telling ELLE in May, "I respect what other
people have to say. The bottom line is that everyone thinks
differently".
The 24-year-old "You Da One" singer admitted, "It's very
hard for me to accept, but I get it, people end up wasting their time on the
blogs or whatever, ranting away, and that's all right. I don't hate them for
it."
Joining in on one of the biggest acts
this year, Rihanna made her way on stage for a surprise performance with Kanye
West and Jay-Z for their "Watch the Throne" tour in London.
The Barbadian beauty took to the London
O2 Arena on Sunday night (May 20) wearing a cropped black top, skinny jeans and
a beanie to perform "All Of The Lights" with Kanye as well as joining in on
Jay-Z's hit "Run This Town."
After leaving the arena, the 24-year-old
took to her Twitter page to let her 19 million-plus followers in on her exciting
night tweeting, "Rihanna NAVi made historih tonight as the first person to Watch
The Throne AND join it!!! No one is allowed on that stage! Thank u
guys."
Universal and Hasbro Entertainment's
big-budget Battleship barely left port in its North American launch, grossing a
dismal $25.3 million.
That's well below the anticipated $35
million to $40 million that Universal and director Peter Berg were hoping for.
Battleship, designed to put the studio squarely in the tentpole game, cost at
least $209 million to produce, excluding a pricey marketing spend.
Battleship's international gross of
$226.8 million provides some cushion, but it needed a strong domestic
performance to end up in the black. A $25.3 million opening means the movie
might not clear $70 million or $80 million over the long haul domestically,
resulting in a notable loss for Universal and sparking plenty of Monday-morning
quarterbacking within the studio about what went wrong.
There's already speculation that
Battleship, starring Taylor Kitsch, Rihanna, Brooklyn Decker and Liam Neeson,
will follow the same course as Disney's John Carter, which debuted to $30.2
million in March and topped out at $71.8 million domestically. Overseas, John
Carter, also starring Kitsch, earned $200.6 million. The pic resulted in a $200
million write-down for Disney.
Kicking off the week with some Big Apple
fun, Rihanna was spotted out and about in New York City last night (May
14).
The "Take A Bow" songstress left her
luxury hotel and headed off to a party, stopping to buy a rose along the
way.
Earlier in the evening, Ri-Ri gave a
fabulous live performance at the Robin Hood Foundation Benefit at the Jacob K

Just when we thought the pink (or blue or
green) hair trend might be dying down—the look first started gaining traction
over two years ago after Proenza Schouler's Spring 2010 show, after all—Lady
Gaga debuted pastel-streaked hair last week. Then, today in Versailles,
hairstylist Sam McKnight sent the Chanel Cruise 2013 models out onto the runway
in pastel-colored pageboy crops, solidifying the fact that the trend still has
legs.
Although it's not visibly apparent from
the front, McKnight actually created what he called a "bob-top": "wigs dyed grey
pastel then sliced in half to reveal low pony with massive bow," he explained on

Dropping a brand new visual offering to
go with their collaborative single, Coldplay and Rihanna have debuted the
official tour edition music video for "Princess of China".
The artsy piece's release comes just
after the video was teased during a recent Coldplay concert held in Edmonton
just over a week ago.
Talking about bringing RiRi on board for
their album Mylo Xyloto last year, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin told MTV,
“Rihanna's bit on our record is my favorite bit,. When the song came out, it
sort of asked for her to be on it. And I think at this point, we have nothing to
lose, and so we’ve been trying some new things and trying to break down the
perceived boundaries between different types of music."
