Rihanna, Brooklyn Decker, Alexander
Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch, and director Peter Berg were in the house at the
Yoyogi National Gymnasium where over 5,000 fans gathered to see the
flick.
They've been working overtime on a busy
promotional schedule, and today (April 3) the cast of "Battleship" showed up at
the world premiere in Tokyo, Japan.
According to Berg, “By hosting the world
premiere of Battleship in Japan, we celebrate our countries' shared love of epic
adventures."
"Our heroes—Lt. Hopper of the U.S. Navy
and Capt. Nagata of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Forces—bring their crews
together to battle an alien threat that emerges from the Pacific. We hope those
coming to Yoyogi are as excited to see Battleship's international sailors in
action as we are to show our film on opening night."
"Battleship" hits theaters here in the
States on May 18th.
